How to read eeprom with MP2000

Hi. I was wondering if someone can help me with a problem I am having reading the eeprom from my Gold card with the multiprogramer 2000. I have been told that reading the eeprom with the Multiprogramer using the 2 stone program is not possible due to copyright reason.(???) I wonder what copyright issue is? Anyway, I used to have a millenium programer which was able to read the eeprom using the Gold 140 (ex Keymaster program) program written be techtronics. Unfornately this program will not work with the Multiprogramer 2000, so does anyone know of another software which will indeed read the eeprom correctly? I do not know if it will help, but I believe in order to correctly read the eeprom, the gold 140 programer first loads a bootloader program into the PIC and then reads the eeprom. Does someone know where I can find this bootloader? Maybe this is the copyright I was told about. Many Thanks in advance.

This "bootloader", which you mean, is include of many Card-Files for "Goldwafer"(short:GW)!
You will find these Files of some Pages, like "//sathack.go2.it" in the section of "digital" under "Goldwafer". Take some of these Files, unzip them and look about the file named "bootlaoder.hex" or similar.

Thanks BlueSonic, however I did try to load the bootloader first but to no avail. I did have some success using the cardblaster program. Only problem is that it is very unstable as you attempt to read the eeprom. Let us hope that future versions will fix this problem.

I have used the programm "icprog09a" with a "Ludipipo-programmer" and it has worked success. Only with the newer version d of icprog, i have some problems to programming the loader. Try the icprog, if you can´t programming or reading the device with the other programms. You will find this programm at the link, where you find the loader, too...and some other pages.
