Keine Statusleiste im IE

Hi!

In letzter Zeit habe ich ein Problem mit dem Internet Explorer 6.0 XPSP2. Immer wenn ich "Datei->Neu->Fenster" wähle, öffnet sich das neue Explorerfenster ohne Statusleiste. Echt nervig... Wenn ich dagegen einen Link anklicke mit "In neuem Fenster öffnen" passiert das aber nicht. Auch das erste IE-Fenster hat eine Statusleiste.
Ich habe schon mit RegEdit & RegMon die Registry-Einträge des IE abgesucht, aber nichts so ändern können, dass es funktionieren würde.
Kennt jemand das Problem? Hat jemand vielleicht auch eine Lösung?

Das Prob hab ich auch immerwieder.

Ich machs mit Ansicht -> Statusleiste

und da is sie wieder *G*

Ja klar kann ich die Statusleiste von Hand wieder anzeigen lassen. Aber das ist ja das nervige dabei. Ich weiss ganz genau, dass es bis vor kurzem bei mir auch so funktioniert hat. Ohne selbst Hand anzulegen.

Status Bar Is Not Displayed When You Open a New Browser Window

SYMPTOMS
When you use any of the following methods to open a new instance of Microsoft Internet Explorer 6 or of Internet Explorer 6 Service Pack 1 (SP1), the Status Bar may not appear in the new browser window:
Press CTRL + N on the keyboard.
Right-click a link, and then click Open in New Window.
Click File, and then click New Window
WORKAROUND
To work around this issue, click Status Bar on the View menu. You may also be able to prevent this issue from occuring by turning on the Status bar for a Windows Explorer windows and then setting all the folders to match that folder's view settings. To do this, follow these steps:
Open Internet Explorer, click View, and then click Status Bar.
Right-click the Toolbar in Internet Explorer, and then click Lock the Toolbars.
Hold down the CTRL key and click the Close button at the upper right corner to close Internet Explorer.
Right-click Start, click Explore, click View, and then click Status Bar.
Click Tools, click Folder Options, and then click View.
Click the Apply to all folders button.

Note Click OK to confirm that you want to set all the folders to match the current folder's view settings.
Open Internet Explorer, right-click the Toolbar, and then click Lock the Toolbars.
Hold down the CTRL key and click the Close button at the upper right corner to close Internet Explorer.
Open Internet Explorer to any page, right-click a link, and then click Open in New Window

The Status Bar should remain visible.

The Status bar setting is stored as a String value named Show_URLinStatusBar in the following registry key:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main

Na das werde ich gleich mal ausprobieren. Wieder mal typisch MS: In dem angegebenen Registry-Schlüssel gibt es einen String "ShowStatusBar". Den habe ich natürlich hin- und herprobiert. Aber dass "Show_URLinStatusBar" dafür zuständig ist, hätte ich nie gedacht.
Auch eigenartig, dass diese Einstellung mit den Statusbar-Einstellungen der Explorer-Fenster zusammenhängt. Da haben die wohl einen Registry-Key sparen wollen und dann diesen Murks verursacht. :fr:
