Hallo Deduschka Moros!!!

Habe deine Frage leider schon verspaetet gesehen...
Es kommt darauf an, was du programmieren moechtest um optimale Umgebung zu schaffen.
ich mag keinen visualJ...
Aber JBuilder4.0 ist doch lecker!

Ich kenne auch andere Umgebungen, musst mir nur sagen was du vorhast... dann koennte ich vielleicht von den anderen prog.umgebungen berichten...

Fuer Servlets (Server , Clients) bevorzuge ich doch JBuilder, besonders den 4.

also es geht mir bei der ungebung darum, dass sie so wenig wie möglich kostet und zweitens, dass sie sozusagen java-native-classes unterstützt, so dass ich die wysiwyg ungebung nutzen kann und meine applets auch noch im browser ohne zusatzbibloitheken laufen.

eine kleine frage noch, wie hast du den servlet server mit apache zum laufen gebracht? :)

sorry, wenn ich mich einmische :)

Meinst Du den bei JBuilder enthaltenen Tomcat (der einen eigenen HTTP-Server hat) oder den Apache ??
Der Apache ist von Haus aus ja nicht Java-fähig, kann aber ebenfalls mit Tomcat kombiniert werden. Die Java-Server-Requests werden dann vom Apache an den Tomcat weitergegeben.
Die Kombination Apache / JServ funktioniert auch sehr gut (erfordert nur eine etwas andere httpd.conf).

Was genau funktioniert denn bei Dir nicht ?

Dann kann ich Dir vielleicht helfen.

tut mir leid dass ich mich erst 3 wochen später melde, aber erst jetzt hab ich den PC da wo ich den Jserv installiert habe.

apache an sich läuft. wenn ich http://localhost/jserv/ eingebe bekomme ich auch den begrüssungstext:

das problem kommt wenn ich http://localhost:8007/IsItWorking versuche einzugeben.

IsItWorking ist ja das beispiel-servlet, das eigentlich gehen sollte. als fehlermeldung kommt folgendes:
Status: 400 Bad Request
Servlet-Error: Malformed data sent to JServ

versuche andere servlets auszufüren scheitern auch

habt ihr eine idee?

Solange keine Klagen kommen, lasse ich es stehen. Mein Opera ist nicht abgestürzt. :D

Es wäre dennoch ratsam, solche Sachen als Datei auf einen Server zu legen. Schließlich muß jetzt, zum Ausprobieren, noch jemand mittels Copy'n'Paste tätig werden. Oder er sieht den Fehler auf Anhieb...
